New Enhancement

SIM-based Authentication (EAP-SIM)

SIM-based authentication mechanism allows the Wireless@SG network to recognise you as a registered user by the identification details stored in your 3G/4G SIM card whenever you are within range of a Wireless@SG hotspot after a one-time configuration of your mobile phones for automatic detection and log-in to the Wireless@SG network. This will be available by 1 April 2014. Manually configuring your devices by following the instructions here .

Foreign Registration

From June 2014, visitors in Singapore can register for a free account at any Wireless@SG hotspot and receive their login details through SMS messages sent to their foreign mobile numbers. Alternatively, visitors can buy a local prepaid SIM card from M1 and StarHub to log on to Wireless@SG via the SIM-based login feature.
