IDA Labs and the Accreditation@IDA programme
IDA Labs, located at IDA's headquarters at Mapletree Business City and the National Design Centre (NDC) were officially opened on 24 April. A new Accreditation@IDA programme was also launched at the opening event. The programme aims to help innovative technology start-ups build their credentials so that they can be positioned as qualified vendors capable of handling projects by government agencies and large enterprises.
Enabling high-speed connectivity for businesses
ICT for Productivity and Growth (IPG) Programme, announced during Budget 2014, includes a Fibre Ready Scheme (FRS). This scheme provides a subsidy of up to 80% of the cost of new in-building infrastructure for building owners and managers in order to facilitate access to fibre services for non-residential subscribers.
