The IDA JC Computing Award is presented to students who demonstrate strong aptitude and passion in computing to give them a head start in the thriving infocomm industry. The JC Computing Award comes with attractive benefits and provides awardees the opportunities to expose themselves to various industry partners, infocomm events and workshops.

Benefits

Awardees will enjoy the following benefits:

• Tuition fees at JC (or equivalent)*, capped at $2,400 per annum
• Annual allowance

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a Singapore citizen
• Possess outstanding 'O' Level (or equivalent)* results
• Take up H2 and/or H3 (if available) Computing as a GCE 'A' Level subject
• Have a good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) record
• Possess a strong interest in infocomm

* Students under the International Baccalaureate and Integrated Programmes are also eligible to apply .

Service Commitment

Awardees will be required to:

• Maintain an excellent academic performance in JC1 (or equivalent) promotional examinations and to continue with H2 and/or H3 Computing (if available) at Year 2 (or equivalent).
