In the education and learning sector, IDA’s goal is to foster an engaging learning experience to meet the diverse needs of learners in Singapore, through the innovative use of infocomm. The plan aims to achieve the following outcomes:

• Our people experience engaged learning and enriched lives, and Singapore benefits from enhanced national capacity;
• Our educational institutions, with their pervasive and innovative use of infocomm, are magnets for global talent; and
• Our infocomm industry is recognised for its innovative Education and Learning products and services.

In line with these objectives, IDA has adopted the three strategic thrusts which involve:

• Creating an enriching and personalised learner-centric environment in our educational institutions;
• Building a nation-wide Education and Learning infrastructure; and
• Positioning Singapore as a centre for innovation in the use of infocomm technologies for the education and learning sector.
