Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme (CITREP) The Critical Infocomm Technology Resource (CITREP) programme aims to encourage upgrading in critical, emerging and hybrid infocomm skills, such as such as product development, cloud computing and software architecture. This ensures that professionals have the right skills and capabilities to meet Singapore’s infocomm manpower needs. Computer Science Reloaded Programme The Computer Science (CS) Reloaded Programme aims to deliver enrichment courses to pre-tertiary students to deepen their infocomm skills by supporting course fees for students to take up computer science courses anchored in computational thinking. IDA Junior College Computing Award (JCA) The IDA JC Computing Award is presented to students who demonstrate strong attitude and passion in computing to give them a head start in the thriving infocomm industry. The JC Computing Award comes with attractive benefits and provides awardees the opportunities to expose themselves to various industry partners, infocomm events and workshops. Integrated Infocomm Scholarship (IIS) The Integrated Infocomm Scholarship (IIS) is open to outstanding 'O' level students to take them through infocomm studies at both the polytechnic and university levels. IT Exposed The IT Exposed programme aims to generate curiosity, interest and passion for Infocomm amongst youth. The programme seeks to equip Infocomm Club students with computing concepts and skills through training workshops aimed at deepening the programming skills of primary and secondary students. National Infocomm Competition (NIC) The National Infocomm Competition (NIC) is a series of infocomm-themed competitions to expose students to areas such as programming, mobile application development, networking, games design and creation. The NIC aims to inculcate interest and raise exposure about infocomm among students and create a common branding to boost the prestige of infocomm competitions in Singapore. The NIC is divided into three categories – Primary, Secondary/JC and ITE/Polytechnic/University. BCA-IDA Green Mark for Data Centres Scheme To provide recognition to data centre operators that have successfully deployed Green Data Centre best practices and demonstrated superior energy and environmental performance, BCA and IDA have developed the Green Mark scheme for Data Centres. The scheme comprises of a rating system which enables DCs to benchmark their degree of greenness with respect to their peers. Rating DCs in categories such as "Platinum", "Gold PLUS " and "Gold" provides the impetus for DC operators to track, manage and improve their energy efficiency performance to reduce operating cost and also improve the corporate branding.
