  • Infocomm Local Industry Upgrading Programme (iLIUP)

    The nature of business success in the Infocomm industry is a shifting target. Spotting untapped opportunities in the market is no longer sufficient. In today's environment, strong partnerships with large, established industry players is the key that Infocomm local enterprises (iLEs) need in order to secure a foothold on the local, regional and global Infocomm landscape.

  • iSTART Beijing and iSTART Shanghai

    As part of our series of market access support, IDA is organising the iSTART@Beijing and iSTART@Shanghai programme. Through delegation trips to each of these destinations, IDA will engage China-based incubators, investors and companies, to help Singapore-based start-ups enter the Chinese market. They would help participating companies understand market dynamics, and connect with key individuals with the intent of securing customers, investors, and partners - through a variety of targeted meetings, events and workshops organised for the delegation.

  • iSTART:ACT

    The iSTART:ACT (Accelerate & Commercialise Technology) programme is a grant scheme that aims to encourage and assist Singapore-based start-ups to accelerate technology commercialisation and catalyse go-to-market activities by leveraging internationally-proven technologies. iSTART:ACT focuses on enhancing start-up business viability by leveraging established technology to overcome the valley-of-death phase that start-ups face.

  • BCA-IDA Green Mark for Data Centres Scheme

    To provide recognition to data centre operators that have successfully deployed Green Data Centre best practices and demonstrated superior energy and environmental performance, BCA and IDA have developed the Green Mark scheme for Data Centres. The scheme comprises of a rating system which enables DCs to benchmark their degree of greenness with respect to their peers. Rating DCs in categories such as "Platinum", "Gold PLUS " and "Gold" provides the impetus for DC operators to track, manage and improve their energy efficiency performance to reduce operating cost and also improve the corporate branding.

    Cloud is the next important paradigm in computing that will present many new opportunities for the infocomm industry and other businesses in Singapore . IDA's IDA’s cloud vision is to sharpen the overall economic competitiveness of Singapore through the adoption of cloud computing and to enhance the vibrancy and growth fo the Singapore infocomm sector through the development of a cloud ecosystem.

  • Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN)

    The Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) is the wired network of the Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure. It will provide ultra-high speed broadband access of 1Gbps and more, where consumers can look forward to  a slew of next generation services at all physical addresses including homes, schools, government buildings, businesses and hospitals.

  • IPv6

    The IPv6 Transition Programme is a national effort spearheaded by IDA in its role as the national planner for Infocomm development, to address the issue of IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4) exhaustion and to facilitate the smooth transition of the Singapore Infocomm ecosystem to IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6).
