Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC)
The Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of IDA was established in October 1995. SGNIC's main role is to administer the Internet domain name space in Singapore.
As the national registry for ".sg" domain, SGNIC formulates domain name registration policies in Singapore and administers the registration of second and third level domain names e.g. sg / com / org / net / edu / gov / per.sg domains via its accredited registrars.
SGNIC also collaborates with the international, regional and local Internet communities to ensure a stabilised and efficient operation of the ".sg" domain name space in support of applications provided over the Internet.
