  • National Authentication Framework

The National Authentication Framework (NAF) seeks to realise the vision of the iN2015 masterplan for a secure and trusted enabling infocomm infrastructure that can facilitate the delivery of online services by the public and private sectors.

  • International Collaboration

Given the borderless nature of cyber-threats, international collaboration is crucial in ensuring infocomm security for Singapore. IDA works closely with our international counterparts through various platforms.

IDA, through SingCERT, actively engages international counterparts through platforms such as Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT), Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), and ASEAN CERT Incident Drill (ACID).

Critical Infocomm Infrastructure Protection (CIIP) is another key area of focus in international collaboration. IDA is an active participant in the Meridian Process which provide a platform for Governments to discuss how to work together on CIIP at the policy level.

  • National Programmes

Against the backdrop of pervasive infocomm technology use by the Singapore Government, businesses and society, Singapore's strategy to secure the infocomm environment is encapsulated in the two Infocomm Security Masterplans and related initiatives.

  • Infocomm Security Masterplan 2

Launched in 2008, the Infocomm Security Masterplan 2 (MP2) is a five-year roadmap developed through a multi-agency effort led by IDA, under the guidance of the National Infocomm Security Committee. Building on the achievements of the first Infocomm Security Masterplan, MP2 sees the public, private and people sectors working even more closely together through initiatives such as the Cyber Security Awareness Alliance.

  • Infocomm Security Masterplan

The first Infocomm Security Masterplan (ISMP) was launched in February 2005 as a three -year strategic roadmap focusing on the development of Singapore’s infocomm security capabilities to protect the country against external and internal cyber threats.
