One of the challenges faced by local Infocomm companies to transition from a services-based model to a product- or cloud-based model requires specialised manpower and financial resources.  High cost of software tools also resulted in low adoption and hence low productivity.

IDA plans to make it easier and more affordable for local infocomm companies to gain access to productivity tools, services and expertise through demand aggregation, grant incentive and manpower training.
