Health Informatics Summit 2009

The second Health Informatics Summit was jointly organised by IDA Singapore and MOH Holdings on the 17 and 18 July 2009, with participation from more than 200 clinicians, managers and IT leaders. The Summit was opened by Ms Yong Ying-I (Permanent Secretary - Health), Chairman (IDA Singapore and MOH Holdings), and the theme of the Summit was "Benefits Realisation and Evaluation of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) programme".

Besides sharing of our local experiences by Dr James Yip (NUHS) and Dr Wong Yue Sie (SingHealth), participants also exchanged ideas with a panel of international experts, including Dr Tom Inui (President & CEO, Regenstrief Institute), Dr Mike Bainbridge (Clinical Architect, NHS Connecting for Health), Dr Caitlin Cusack (HIT Program Manager, National Resource Centre, University of Chicago), Professor Johanna Westbrook (Professor of Health Informatics, University of Sydney) and Andrew David Hartshorn (Expert Facilitator, Benefits Realisation & Achievement International Network (BraIN) NHS Connecting for Health).
