Corrigendum 1
IDA is issuing the following corrigendum for the Call for Proposal. The amendments are summarised as follows:
Overview
Better work-life balance, increased staff retention, reduced costs and commuting time, improved productivity; these are some of the benefits both companies and employees can look forward to when the location of work can be moved from office to the home or nearer to their home. In Singapore where the broadband penetration is over 80 per cent and the deployment of ultra high speed Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network is underway, companies will find it increasingly viable and beneficial to enable their employees to work from Smart Work Centres as they have ready access to enabling infrastructure.
There are 2 tracks in this CFP for industry player to propose setting up Smart Work Centres nearer home, in (i) Identified Community Spaces and (ii) Self-sourced Locations.
Objectives
The objective of this CFP is to encourage industry players to set up a network of Smart Work Centres in different regions of Singapore and develop the ecosystem to facilitate the expansion of the network of Smart Work Centres. In addition, IDA and its partners also hope that this CFP can heighten awareness and acceptance amongst employers on the concept of bringing work closer to homes and community.
