Connected Games Programme
The global games industry is booming and South East Asia will play an important role in this growth story. The South East Asian online games market has been growing at an accelerated pace and there are many opportunities for companies in the global gaming industry to establish a strong footprint in Singapore and the South East Asian region.
IDA's Connected Games Programme seeks to develop Singapore as the leading regional centre in the areas of publishing and distribution, which generates the majority of gaming industry revenues and has great synergies with other infocomm technology sectors in Singapore.
The Connected Games Programme aims to create a vibrant games ecosystem in Singapore and the South East Asian region, and to position Singapore as a gaming hub for Asia by:
-
Establishing Singapore as a regional hub for games publishing and distribution;
-
Growing and equipping local games companies with regional networks and capabilities;
-
Strengthening Singapore's games ecosystem by introducing products, services and programmes that will provide a conducive environment for the publishing and distribution of games.
IDA welcomes proposals from both local and international players in the industry to be a part of the Connected Games Programme. For more information, please email
