IDA has launched a “Cloud-based school video site” competition in January 2013. All schools are welcomed to participate. Schools can register their publicly available video sites for the competition and stand a chance to win attractive prizes. Schools without existing video sites can make use of the cloud resources to set up their video sites and stream their videos.

Students can conceptualise and design their schools’ own “SchoolTube” with a diversity of video channels that can be used for publication of eLearning curriculum, publicity of school events and CCAs, discussion of journalism and current affairs. The judging panel includes representatives from MOE and IDA. Attractive prizes await the winning schools. Announcement of winners would be made during CloudAsia 2013 conference.
