Wireless@SG Programme
Wireless@SG is a wireless broadband programme developed by IDA as part of its Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure initiative. It is run by three local wireless operators - iCELL Network, M1 and SingTel. Users can enjoy free, both indoor and outdoor seamless wireless broadband access with speeds of up to 1 Mbps at public areas.
National Programmes
Working closely with the people, private and public sectors, IDA has spearheaded a series of national infocomm security masterplans to combat ever-evolving cyber threats such as hacking, virus attacks and cyber terrorism, in order to maintain a secure infocomm environment for the government, businesses and individuals.
International Collaboration
As cyber-threats transcend geographical boundaries, IDA, through SingCERT, actively engages international counterparts in facilitating the detection, resolution and prevention of security-related incidents.
Wired With Wireless Programme
The Wired With Wireless programme, launched in Oct 2000 aims to develop Singapore into a living lab for wireless development in Asia. This is to be achieved through the development of the wireless value chain - from infrastructure developers to access service providers, content creators and aggregators.
