Over the past two years, IDA International has created significant mindshare internationally with global leaders through the media and has engaged with public agencies in regions such as Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Asia, South Asia and South-East Asia.

IDA International has also formed a partnership with the World Bank Group and International Enterprise Singapore to jointly strengthen and expand collaboration in ICT, particularly e-Government solutions. Under the MOU signed in November 2010, the three parties will jointly develop and support the World Bank-Singapore Strategic Technology Accelerator Programme (STAP). STAP is a technical assistance partnership to provide the highest quality advice and technical assistance on ICT solutions related to the public sector based on global best practices from Singapore and the rest of the world. The Global Business Development Centre of Excellence (GBD COE), a joint effort by IDA, IDA International, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, and Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), has also stepped up activities to help the Singapore infocomm industry scale up global business development and increase business opportunities in overseas markets. In June 2010, an industry briefing titled “Business Opportunities in the Global Markets” was conducted with SiTF for participants to learn more about the opportunities and support available when they intend to expand their business overseas.

Under GBD COE, IDA International provided e-Government consultancy framework training to IE Singapore’s Centre Directors. About 40 Centre Directors were briefed in July 2010 to market e-Government information and services as part of business development efforts for Singapore’s e-Government solutions. In July 2010, a CFC was launched by GBD COE with SiTF as part of the efforts to monetise public ICT services and solutions. The CFC sought to select suitable partners to license the Government eBusiness procurement (GeBIZ) platform for implementation in overseas markets. The CFC has since been awarded to IDA International and CrimonLogic in which both companies will jointly market the new GeBIZ platform globally. IDA International will be applying its professional and consulting skills to assist governments to achieve their e-business vision while CrimsonLogic will be responsible for implementing the requisite technology and solutions.

In December 2010, eGovernment solutions provider CrimsonLogic entered into a partnership with IDA International to distribute and operate e-procurement systems incorporating the GeBIZ platform. The new commercialized GeBIZ platform will serve as a one-stop e-business solution tool that will facilitate trading between organizations and their local and overseas suppliers, for both government and non-government businesses.
