- For getting information: general web browsing, information on government organisations, goods/services
- For leisure activities: downloading/listening to music, playing/downloading computer or video games, downloading/watching movies, reading news or magazines
- For creating content: blogs, personal websites, forums
- For dealing with government organisations/public authorities: downloading/lodging forms, online payments
