  • InfoPier
    InfoPier is the first-ever trusted Infocomm Online Community, exclusively for Infocomm professionals in Singapore, launched in 8 Nov 2011 by Singapore Computer Society (SCS) with support from Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).

  • Company-Led Training Programme for Fresh Professionals (CLT)
    The Company-Led Training Programme for Fresh Professionals (CLT) is a new initiative, under the Infocomm Manpower Development Roadmap Version 2.0 (MDEV 2.0). CLT aims to collaborate with CLT Partners to recruit, mentor and train fresh professionals in areas and technologies relevant to the local infocomm industry.

  • Hybrid Skills Development Programme
    The Hybrid Skills Development Programme (HSP) aims to provide professionals with the skills and expertise to develop relevant infocomm solutions for businesses in four key economic sectors such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Hospitality and Logistics.

  • Infocomm Leadership and Development Programme (iLEAD) Expanded
    Infocomm Leadership and Development Programme (iLEAD) aims to ensure that Singapore's infocomm manpower capabilities keep pace with technology changes and Singapore remains at the forefront of technology development. iLEAD will help sharpen and deepen the infocomm knowledge and capabilities of infocomm professionals in Singapore and build a pipeline of infocomm experts in high-end, niche areas.

  • National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF)
    The National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF), developed by IDA and WDA in close collaboration with the infocomm industry, is a national infocomm roadmap which articulates the competency requirements of key Infocomm professionals. Infocomm professionals and employers can leverage the NICF to determine the types of skills and competencies required for various infocomm jobs and to develop training strategies for the professionals to acquire these skills through accredited training providers.

    The NICF will assist infocomm professionals in assessing their own skills and competencies against national and international standards, and in helping them plan their career paths. It also helps to guide employers in manpower planning, training and professional development programmes.

  • Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme (CITREP)
    The Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme (CITREP) is a training incentive programme to equip Singapore infocomm professionals with critical and emerging skills, thus enabling them to enhance their employability and to improve their organisations' competitive advantage.

    The programme supports the course and examination fees for endorsed courses and certifications.

Students

  • Computer Science Reloaded Programme
    The Computer Science (CS) Reloaded Programme aims to deliver enrichment courses to pre-tertiary students to deepen their infocomm skills by supporting course fees for students to take up computational thinking courses, through their schools. Through the programme, students will have the opportunity to take up computational thinking courses such as Game Programming, Python Programming and Cloud Computing, to expose themselves to different computing concepts and their application.

  • Enhanced Learning in Information Technology (ELITE)
    The Enhanced Learning in Information Technology (ELITe) is a talent development programme that aims to develop "industry-ready" infocomm graduates. A core group of university undergraduates will be given opportunities to acquire practical exposure through industry attachments, mentorship, projects and skills development through certifications.

  • IDA Junior College Computing Awards (JCA)
    The Junior College (JC) Computing Award is given to local junior college students who have an aptitude in computing and infocomm, and are keen to pursue H2 and/or H3 computing as a GCE 'A' Level subject. The JC Computing Award comes with attractive benefits and provides awardees the opportunities to expose themselves to various industry partners, infocomm events and workshops.

  • Infocomm Clubs Programme
    The Infocomm Clubs Programme is a Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) for primary, secondary and junior college students. It aims to excite students about infocomm in a fun and meaningful way by helping them to learn new skills and to cultivate leadership and entrepreneurship capabilities at an early age.

    Run in partnership with industry, some of the infocomm club activities include training, project work, mentorship, competitions and collaboration with other schools.

  • Integrated Infocomm Scholarship (IIS)
    The Integrated Infocomm Scholarship (IIS) is open to outstanding 'O' level students to take them through infocomm studies at both the polytechnic and university levels.

  • IT Exposed
    The IT Exposed programme aims to generate curiosity, interest and passion for Infocomm amongst youth. The programme seeks to equip Infocomm Club students with computing concepts and skills through training workshops aimed at deepening the programming skills of primary and secondary students.

  • National Infocomm Competition (NIC)
    The National Infocomm Competition (NIC) is a series of infocomm-themed competitions focussing in areas such as business IT, digital media, mobile technology, programming and security. The NIC aims to generate greater awareness and excitement among students and the public and to attract and nurture young talent into the dynamic field of infocomm.

    The NIC is divided into three circuits - Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges and ITE/Polytechnics.

  • National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS)
    The National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) aims to develop talent and nurture future leaders to help drive Singapore's infocomm industry. Offered in partnership with leading infocomm companies, NIS provides both the prestige of a government scholarship and valuable private sector work exposure.

    The scholarship offers recipients a unique opportunity to be nurtured by leading multinational corporations during their course of study. It also provides international experience in the form of an overseas work attachment of up to 6 months with the sponsor company.
