The Home Networking Clinics are conducted on weekdays at the Infocomm Experience Centre (iExperience).

Homeowners who are interested in connecting different parts of their house to the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN) can now attend a Home Networking Clinic organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). The clinic complements the Home Networking Guide which was launched recently to help homeowners tap on the ultra-high broadband speed delivered over the
Next Gen NBN.
At the hour-long sessions, homeowners will receive a one-to-one briefing on the home networking options available, and advice on which options can cater to their needs. They will also receive a copy of the Home Networking Guide.
The clinics are conducted on weekdays at 12 noon, 2 pm and 5 pm, at the Infocomm Experience Centre (iExperience). Located in Esplanade Xchange, iExperience features interactive and engaging exhibits designed to educate visitors via hands-on experience the possibilities presented by Next Gen NBN.
After the clinic, homeowners can make use of the opportunity to walk through iExperience to view some of the Next Gen Services they can already subscribe to, as well as those that they can expect in the near future.
iExperience, which opened in July 2010, was recently refreshed to include new exhibits such as catch-up television, home automation, and live interaction with friends and loved ones through the television. Visitors can also experience the benefits of cloud-based services such as the rendering of pictures in real-time using scalable platforms and resources.
Another interesting area at iExperience is the “Learn” section, which has been equipped with new interactive multi-touch tables and educational applications that make learning fun. A 3D photo booth and 3D video-making corner also allow visitors to create 3D video and see themselves on a 3D TV.
