Mr Leo Png: Our technology helps organisations to develop innovative mobility products and services.

Founded in 2002 to provide leadership and sales training to technology companies, CEOlution Alliance finally found its calling in creating a platform which will enable companies to rapidly push out mobile content.
“In 2005, a friend from the United States asked me to look at a mobile learning solution which will enable anyone without programming knowledge to rapidly create mobile content,” said Mr Leo Png, Chief Executive Officer of CEOlution Alliance. The solution will also have the ability to track quiz, test, and survey results in real time.
Seeing the potential of such a product, Mr Png decided to restructure CEOlution to focus on mobile learning and publishing. The company now offers cost effective turn-key solutions for rapid creation and publishing of mobile content for viewing on any mobile phone, Blackberry, iPhone, iPad or Android device. It is also the Asia Pacific value-added reseller for US-based OutStart Hot Lava Mobile, a leader in rapid mobile publishing technology.
“Our core business is to use our technology to enable other organisations to develop innovative mobility products and services in the areas of retail, attractions and education,” said Mr Png, who counts the Ministry of Education, Civil Service College, Ministry of Defence, and SingTel as CEOlution's customers.
“We work with companies who can complement our technological know-how and capabilities to create cutting-edge mobility products and services,” he said.
While mobile content creation is a highly competitive market, CEOlution feels that it has a strong advantage in its ability to deliver location-based mobile content very rapidly. The company also specialises in mobile content publishing with results-tracking capabilities.
For example, the technology allows users to create interactive multimedia mobile learning content using PowerPoint. Quiz and survey questionnaires can also be created within PowerPoint with a new add-in. Once created, the learning content can be pushed and downloaded to users’ devices. “The good news is that the user will be able to view the learning content offline even when Internet connection is not available,” said Mr Png.
CEOlution also credits the Singapore Government for its support during the company’s move towards mobile solutions. “We had initial funding from Media Development Authority's i.Jam programme for a location-based learning trail project,” said Mr Png. “We also had opportunities to participate in Learning on the Move learning trail projects with the Ministry of Education.”
As a result, CEOlution has successfully integrated its OutStart mobile learning technology with local software developers such as EzySnap and Y-Find - both ICT companies supported by the Technology Enterprise Commercialisation Scheme which the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) co-administers with SPRING SIngapore - to create new indoor and outdoor location-based authoring tools for delivering location-based mobile content to the Android and iOS platforms. CEOlution is also participating in IDA's upcoming Mobility Call-For-Collaboration with various partners in the area of retail
and tourism.
Next up, with the technological know-how and solutions it has developed, CEOlution intends to enter the India market. “We have a very good network in the education sector in various major cities in India,” said Mr Png.
The company is currently planning to set up an overseas marketing office in Pune, India. It is also taking successful products from Singapore such as the MC Online e-learning courses and Creative Play Chinese products to India. “Our plan is to open a chain of learning centres in all the major cities there.”
