In today's globalised business environment, it has become even more important for SMEs to constantly enhance their productivity so as to stay competitive and relevant.

  • iSPRINT Grant Scheme

With the aim of boosting SMEs' productivity and growth through infocomm, IDA took on a "multi-agency, one-stop" approach and launched the iSPRINT grant in partnership with SPRING Singapore and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). Since March 2010, companies that wish to apply for government funding for IT projects can now do so through iSPRINT's integrated grant application process.

When an SME decides to streamline its manual processes and computerise its business operations, iSPRINT can be tapped on to defray up to 70% of qualifying project costs. The scope of funding is very comprehensive and caters to the diverse infocomm needs among SMEs, ranging from basic, ready-to-use IT packages to large-scale, tailor-made enterprise systems.

  • SME Infocomm Resource Centres

SME Infocomm Resource Centres (SIRCs) provide advisory and pre-project consultancy services, as well as IT clinics and workshops for SMEs. There are currently two SIRCs set up by IDA in collaboration with the Singapore Polytechnic and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI).
